The first time you find out that you are pregnant, there will be a million things running through your mind that plus size maternity apparel may not immediately cross your mind. It will come to the forefront of your thoughts when your clothes start to fit oddly, or not at all. You will begin to notice the difference in the way your lingerie fits - bras, panties, hosiery, pajamas, since they fit close to the skin and are made of stretchable materials. Maternity panties, which give extra room to your ever growing tummy, are an essential must-have unless you expect to go through your pregnancy with the panties that you must continually adjust and pull on. About the time you begin your third month of pregnancy, you will discover that your bras are no longer supporting your new sized breasts. It is now time for a maternity bra and later, a nursing bra will be needed to allow you to easily provide nourishment to your new bundle of joy.
